Free Business Plan Templates & Financial Plan Models

To assist you in developing your business plan we have produced a number of free financial models and free business plan templates. You are welcome to use these for your own project.

These templates and models have been produced in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. To run them you will require any versions of Word or Excel from Excel 97 and later, or Word 6 and beyond. They may work on earlier versions and on other programmes too.

The financial plan templates will help you produce a full set of financial statements without the need for accountancy expertise - including ratio analysis, cashflows, etc.

To help you to quickly get a feel for the financial dynamics of your project (an understanding of the amount of units you would require to break even, or to make a certain amount of profit, the effects of different unit costs, and what profit different prices would deliver…), we have produced some more free financial models in MS Excel to calculate break even points and dynamics.

The free business plan template provides a structure, guidance, and some sample content to get you moving on the buiness plan production.
